Welcome

Prelude — Brethren, we have met to worship, John Carter

Call to Worship (from Isaiah 61 Super Bowl Sunday)
Today is Super Bowl Sunday, a day to watch great football, creative commercials and celebrate a big event.
We will watch them score and win and raise a finger pointing to heaven.
But whose side are you really on God? Who are you rooting for from the stands?
“The poor–I want them to have good news. The brokenhearted–I want to give them healing. The prisoners, the oppressed, and those in distress.”
The Lord smiles as he says it. “I am the God of Jacob. I root for the underdog.”
So should we!

Opening Prayer (unison)
Dear Lord, please come alongside us and be our guide and our protector on the journey we about to take. Watch over us. Protect us from accidents. Keep us from harm to body and soul. Lord, support us with your grace when we are tired. Help us be patient in any trouble which may come our way. Keep us always mindful of your presence and your love, Amen.

Prayer and the Lord’s Prayer

Scripture from Matthew 13 — Reverend Amy Howe

Sermon — Parable of the Sower, Reverend Dr. Daniel Hagmaier

Let There Be Peace On Earth
Let there be peace on earth and let it begin with me. Let There Be Peace on Earth the peace that was meant to be with God our Creator, family all are we. Let us walk with each other
In perfect harmony. Let peace begin with me. Let this be the moment now. With every step I take, let this be my solemn vow. To take each moment and live each moment in peace eternally, let there be peace on earth and let it begin with me.

Benediction
Postlude — Come, Thou Fount of Every Blessing, John Carter

We began videoing our pastor's and guest speakers' sermons on March 17, 2019. We will collect them all on their own page, adding one each week. We encourage you to check back frequently to watch as the collection grows.
