02-14-2021 | Won’t you be my neighbor?
Prelude — Crown Him With Many Crowns, George Elvey
Call to Worship
God of our hearts, here we are.
We’ve come with thirsty hearts praying that your word will satisfy us.
We come with aching hearts praying for good news to comfort us.
We come with overflowing hearts praying for a chance to share your love.
You, who know our hearts and hear our prayers, be with us now in this time of worship, Amen.
Opening Prayer (Unison)
Dear God, as we gather here in the safety of your love, we thank you for fellowship and our Christian family.
We ask that you strengthen us, restore us and inspire us with your love. Lord, fill us with your peace
so that as we journey together, we would pour out our love and mercy to others. We ask that our souls
would catch the wind of your Spirit so that we would be Good Samaritans wherever we go, Amen.
Prayer and the Lord’s Prayer
Scripture: Luke 10:25-37
Sermon: Won’t You Be My Neighbor?
Let There Be Peace On Earth
Let there be peace on earth and let it begin with me. Let There Be Peace on Earth the peace that was meant to be with God our Creator, family all are we. Let us walk with each other
In perfect harmony. Let peace begin with me. Let this be the moment now. With every step I take, let this be my solemn vow. To take each moment and live each moment in peace eternally, let there be peace on earth and let it begin with me.
Postlude — God of Grace, John Hughes
