07-05-2020 | Row the boat!
Dear Church Family and Friends,
Happy July 4th Independence Day! Below is the min-service and sermon. We will partake of Holy Communion together so please have a cracker/bread and wine/juice ready. May God bless your time with us!
Welcome
Opening Hymn — O Beautiful for Spacious Skies
Verse 1
O beautiful for spacious skies, for amber waves of grain, for purple mountain majesties above the fruited plain! America! America! God shed his grace on thee, and crown thy good with brotherhood from sea to shining sea!
Verse 2
O beautiful for heroes proved in liberating strife, who more than self their country loved, and mercy more than life! America! America! God mend thine every flaw; confirm thy soul in self-control, thy liberty in law!
Call to Worship
We gather today appreciating our freedom to worship God and the wonderful freedom we have here in America.
May God continue to bless the church of Christ in this land.
We draw near to the God who rules over all nations.
May God continue to bless our country and all the countries of the world.
We seek to live in harmony and peace together with all peoples on the earth.
May God continue to establish peace on earth and help us understand that it begins in our hearts.
Come let us worship the Lord.

Closing Hymn — My Country Tis of Thee
Verse 1
My country ’tis of thee, sweet land of liberty, of thee I sing; land where my fathers died, land of the pilgrims’ pride, from every mountainside let freedom ring.
Verse 2
Let music swell the breeze, and ring from all the trees sweet freedom’s song. Let mortal tongues awake; let all that breathe partake; let rocks their silence break, the sound prolong.
Benediction
