Dear Church Family and Friends,
We continue to hope and pray that you are safe and well on this second Friday of October. I used to love October days growing up in Canadohta Lake, Pennsylvania as we often experienced a beautiful sunny day with crisp evenings to play football on a Friday night.
This Sunday we will officially celebrate World Communion Sunday and take Holy Communion together. We will provide individual packets of juice and cracker for each attendee. We will also remember that we are connected throughout the world through Jesus Christ our Risen Lord!
I will be preaching from the Book of Hebrews, Chapter 1 where the author of Hebrews reminds us of the love of God shown to everyone of us. The Title of my sermon is: Do We Have A Failure To Communicate? God has spoken to us over the centuries through prophets and kings and queens and we often don’t get the message. So God decided to go to Plan B and send Jesus into the world to tell us just how much God loves us.
Our Key West Preschool Co-op will be holding a yard/rummage sale tomorrow (Oct. 9), from 9-2 in case you want to swing by and check the goods out. The money goes to support scholarships for families in need here in Key West.
Please keep in your prayers this morning Barry Gibson, Beth Childress, Marika Smith and others going through various challenges.
May God richly bless you this weekend and enjoy the October air!
