Welcome to Dr. Daniel Hagmaier
Welcome to Peace Covenant’s new pastor, Dr. Daniel L. Hagmaier. On Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2018, the Rev. Dr. Daniel L. Hagmaier preached to the congregation of Peace Covenant Presbyterian Church for the first time. Dr. Hagmaier will become pastor at Peace Covenant on Jan. 1, 2019.
The Rev. Dr. Daniel L. Hagmaier, senior pastor and head of staff at Palisades Presbyterian Church in San Diego, has accepted the Session’s Covenant to become Interim Pastor for Peace Covenant.
We expect that Dr. Hagmaier will preach for the first time and serve Communion on Jan. 6, 2019.
Dr. Hagmaier and his wife, Jaye J, will relocate to Key West in late December and move into the manse.

More about Dr. Hagmaier
With more than two decades of experience as a Presbyterian pastor, Daniel is recognized within the denomination as a successful church leader and builder of strong congregations. He told the Search Committee and Session that he was seeking “a body of believers who enjoys a fantastic fellowship, desires to grow together spiritually and reaches out to the community and world for Christ.”
Daniel and Jaye J have roots in South Florida and have been frequent visitors to Key West.
Daniel is a graduate of Florida Bible College, has a Master’s of Divinity from Pittsburgh Theological Seminary and a Doctor of Ministry from Columbia Theological Seminary. He has served churches in Fort Myers and Bradenton, among others.
