Opportunities for Service
Prayerfully consider making a commitment to Peace Covenant and its work this year. The friendships and fellowship that you acquire through your involvement are an added bonus as we all work together with our church family. Volunteer to be part of our work. The Administration and Personnel Committee is responsible for the administrative functions of the church. It oversees the monthly income, expenses, special financial needs, the annual budget and audits. Contact Ann Reynolds. Former elder Diana Jones still serves as church Treasurer.
The Christian Education Committee is responsible for the church education programs for the entire church family from nursery to adult studies. They work with the pastor to help the church become Biblically aware through the planning of programs and studies. Contact Elder Lori Menendez.
The Mission and Outreach Committee is responsible for service within our church, our community and our world. It leads the church in responding to local mission opportunities and seeks to keep informed on concerns of world missions. Contact Elder Niels Hubbell.
The Member Care Committee is responsible for the care of our church family. It seeks to meet the needs of individuals, families and our church as a whole and handle administrative functions of the church. Contact Elder Linda Cunningham or Mary Cintron.
The Property and Grounds Committees is responsible for overseeing the use and maintenance of our property. It authorizes property usage and takes care of our church building and manse. Contact Elder Bob Lutz.
The Worship Committee oversees and seeks to facilitate our proper worship of God in Christ our Lord. In consultation with the pastor, it helps plan worship, special services and communion opportunities. Contact Elder Ron Zemlicka or Charles Gerwig.
Our Elders are an appointed governing body of our church. Our elders assist our pastor in all decisions of the church. The current Clerk of Session is Mary Jo Banks.
