Dear Church Family and Friends,
We continue to keep all of you in our prayers as we pray that you are safe and well during this pandemic. May you feel the power and strength of Almighty God this day!
This Sunday, we will meet again in the parking lot/courtyard for our service at 11 a.m. We had a children’s moment from afar last Sunday which was challenging. However, in conversations with some parents and our Education Chair, Beverly Morris, we will do two things this Sunday with our children. First, Katie Catena has copied several lessons for the children to do while in their vehicle. Second, I will have 4-5 chairs near me spread apart for the children to come up front so I can talk to them.
By the way, our speaker system to reach the parking lot is amazing. You can stay in your vehicle and hear everything. This Sunday, I continue my sermon series on the Parables of Jesus. This week, we take a close look at the Parable of the Bridesmaids. There were ten of them and five had extra oil in their lamps and five did not prepare properly. What is Jesus trying to tell us today? Find out this Sunday!
Please keep in your prayers this week, Barry Gibson, Beth Childress and another member of our congregation.
Have a safe and blessed weekend,
