Pastor’s weekly newsletter | 02-12-2021
Dear Church Family and Friends,
We hope and pray that you are well and safe today. We have had several church members vaccinated and we are praying that everyone gets vaccinated in Key West and the U.S. and the world soon.
Our attendance on Sunday mornings continues to grow and expand as people pull up in their cars to hear the Word of God. What a beautiful sight it is to see. Please feel safe to come to worship and sit in your car and hear the service every Sunday at 11 a.m. Also, don’t forget to bring an umbrella for the sun if you need one. We also have some available in the narthex. In case of rain, we will not have the service outside but will tape it inside and send via email later.
This Sunday I continue my sermon series on the Parables of Jesus and this week we take a closer look at perhaps, one of the most famous parables, The Good Samaritan. Jesus is talking to an attorney who wants to know how he can inherit eternal life and Jesus tells him this story of a man going from Jerusalem to Jericho. It is an incredible story filled with significant points for us to apply today.
Please keep in your prayers today, Barry Gibson, Beth Childress and Diana Jones. Diana has given me permission to inform you that she is going through the challenge of breast cancer. May God bless Barry, Beth and Diana and heal them this day!
Have a wonderful weekend,
Pastor Daniel
