Dear Church Family and Friends,
It is Good Friday and a day to remember our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ going to the cross on our behalf to give us new life, forgiveness, and redemption.
This Sunday is the grandest day on the Christian Calendar, Easter Sunday! We will be meeting outside at 7 AM Sunrise and 11 AM Worship. I will also be preaching at Venture Out at 9 AM. All services will have the same sermon and the same music. My sermon is called, The Rolling Stones. Now, listen you don’t need to spend $275 for a ticket to hear The Rolling Stones and I hope and pray that you will get “some satisfaction” from our service. I will be preaching from John 20 which is the famous passage where Mary Magdalene goes to the tomb and the sees that the stone has been rolled away. We all have different stones in our life like guilt or fear. How do we roll those stones out of our world like the stone that was rolled from the tomb? Stay tuned!
This is also the time we collect an offering for the One Great Hour of Sharing. One Great Hour of Sharing helps support our Presbyterian Disaster Assistance Program which sends in supplies and workers to hard hit areas all over the United States and the world. Our area benefited greatly after Hurricane Irma hit the Keys. Please consider giving a portion of your resources for this great resource in our denomination. We will have envelopes and other information available on Sunday.
