Dear Church Family and Friends,

We hope you are safe and well on this Friday in April. We had a wonderful Easter Celebration last Sunday and we hope you did as well.

I am writing today because Jaye J. and I are flying to Memphis today for Reverend Amy Howe’s 60th birthday celebration and we are excited to join with Dave and family and friends for this historic occasion. As most of you know, Amy assists me here at our church at various times and recently gave me the Charge to the Pastor on March 20 at the Installation Service.

This Sunday, Reverend Terri Hill will be preaching the sermon. Terri is the recently retired pastor of Key West United Methodist Church on Eaton Street. Terri also serves with me on the Interfaith Ministry Team here in Key West as the Treasurer and she is also a Board Member for the Florida Keys Habitat For Humanity. Terri will be preaching on overcoming evil with the power of love from Matthew 27 and 28.

Please keep in your prayers this morning Beth Childress, the Flight Family, Cissy Losley’s son, Michael who recently had back surgery and the people in Ukraine.
