Dear Church Family and Friends,

We hope you are safe and well on this final Friday of April.

This Sunday, Jaye J. and I will be out of town to celebrate her father’s 90th birthday in Sun City Center. He continues to be involved in yoga, tai chi, lectures and faithful to the Sun City Center Methodist Church and in amazing shape. You can see where his daughter gets some of her genes from!

We continue to meet in the Sanctuary this coming Sunday and look forward to Reverend Michael Zehr bringing us a wonderful message. Michael’s sermon is: Three Scriptures That Are Re-Shaping Me from Philippians 2, 4 and 1 Thessalonians 5. I know you will enjoy hearing Michael and receive great inspiration as you continue to follow our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

We bring sad news to you regarding our church family. Vicki Grant and her husband Jim are moving to Fort Myers in the next two weeks. Vicki has been a longtime member and current Chair of Buildings and Grounds. She has accomplished a great deal in the past year while overseeing the refurbishment of our Fellowship Hall and Manse Bedroom, Bathroom and Closet. She played faithfully in the Bell Choir and Vicki will be greatly missed!

Bill Miller will also be leaving us in the next few weeks as he and his wife move back to Pennsylvania full-time. Bill has also been a longtime member and active on our Buildings and Grounds Committee. Bill help design the storage areas for the Fellowship Hall. He has worked tirelessly on the manse to fix many issues and help keep the buildings here in great shape. Bill has been a huge help with electrical problems in the church and has served as an Elder and past Chair of B and G. Bill will be missed as well!

Please keep in your prayers this morning, Beth Childress, Barry Gibson and Diana Jones and others going through treatments and operations.

Have a blessed weekend,

Pastor Daniel
