Dear Church Family and Friends,
We hope and pray that you are safe and well on this rainy Friday morning here in Key West.
This Sunday I will be preaching on the most challenging subject in the Bible, forgiveness. Why is it so hard for us humans to forgive one another? Why do we want to get revenge on those who have wronged us? Why do we harbor resentment for years? Jesus has an answer and we won’t like it but it will provide us relief from carrying around heavy burdens.
Please keep in your prayers all the people in the Fort Myers Beach, Sanibel, Captiva, Fort Myers, Cape Coral, Naples and Key West who were hit by Hurricane Ian. A close colleague of mine named Jim Berger is the pastor of Chapel By the Sea in Fort Myers Beach and the church got slammed and they may have to tear the entire sanctuary down. Please pray for Marilyn Vanderveen, Beth Childress, Naomi Fritz and those struggling with inflation and trying to put food on their table.
Have a safe and blessed weekend,
Pastor Daniel
