Pastor’s weekly newsletter | 11-05-2021

Dear Church Family and Friends,
We hope and pray that you are safe and well on this Friday morning.
This Sunday we turn our clocks back one hour so please plan accordingly. I am praying that one day we can keep our clocks the same time all year long! Please enjoy the extra hour of sleep.
This Sunday is also Holy Communion and we will have individual communion packets available for you to partake in communion. It is also All Saints Sunday, a time to pause and remember the saints of God who have helped shape our lives. I will be preaching on what makes a great saint. After worship, I may leave Jaye J. to greet you as I need to moderate the Trinity Congregational Meeting to install their three new Elders.
After worship, the Bells will be meeting in the sanctuary to discuss future bell rehearsals and music. If you would like to be a bell ringer, stay after church and speak to John. We love our bells!
As you know our Office Manager/Secretary works from 3:30 – 5:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday. Beginning next Monday, I will be in the main office from 9 – 10:30 a.m. to be available to answer any questions or if you would like to drop by and chat. I will be in the office Monday – Wednesday during those times and always available 24/7 for you to call or text or email.
Next Sunday, November 14, we will hold a congregational meeting to elect a Pastor Nominating Committee. This committee will have a couple of different options which could include continuing with your current pastor. Once this committee is elected, the motion will go to the Committee On Ministry at Tropical Florida.
Please keep in your prayers this morning Barry Gibson and Beth Childress.
Have a blessed weekend,
Pastor Daniel
