Good Wednesday morning everyone,
Yes it is Wednesday and the reason I am sending this out earlier than normal is because Jaye J. and I are going on a 10 day cruise out of Miami for our final vacation for the year. We are heading to St. Kitts/Nevis, Turks and Caicos, St. Bart’s and the British Virgin Islands. We have a close friend flying from California who will be joining us on the cruise. We will not be sending an email next Friday but back on track by November 22!
This Sunday we will have Sunday School in the Fellowship Hall with Mary Cintron leading the discussion from Genesis 11 where the people attempt to build a tower to the heavens and God disperses them into different regions speaking different languages.
On Sunday, November 17, Doug Brown will be leading Sunday School ushering in the era of Abram, later called Abraham who will become the father of many nations. Doug will unpack Abram’s early history and begin his journey to the land of Canaan.
During worship this Sunday, we will be showing our respect and honoring the Veterans who have served this country for the last 250 years. We will do so with music and our call to worship and opening prayer. Reverend Jeffrey Smith will be preaching from Luke 20:27-40. His sermon is called “Something New.”
The following Sunday, Dr. Randy Becker will be back preaching for us and leading the service. Randy will be preaching from John 20:24-29 and his sermon title is: “Cherish Your Doubts.”
It is very hard to believe that it has been one year since I preached for the first time here at Peace Covenant. Thank you for your continued love and support during our time thus far!
Yours In Christ,
