Good morning everyone,
A very happy Friday to you! I want to start by extending our sympathy and prayers to Greg Jones on the passing of his father, Bill. Please keep Greg and Diana in your prayers this week. They also wanted me to let you know how much they have appreciated the prayers and support over the last many months.
Weekly happenings at our church include a new piano, a new Royal Poinciana tree and events. The brown grand piano is now in the manse and I have been playing up a storm! (You can see the photos and get more information by opening the attached PDF below.)
Congratulations are in order for Doug Brown who will be inducted into the Knoxville Raceway Hall of Fame for his contributions over the years.
On Sunday, June 2 our morning service will switch to 10 a.m. and there will be no Sunday School during the summer.
Our Building and Grounds Committee is searching for a few volunteers who might be willing to change our sign out front once every two weeks. We get great publicity from our sign and you only need to sign up for 3 months at a time. Please contact Doug Brown or myself.
Don’t forget to bring your One Great Hour of Sharing Fish this Sunday to help those suffering from disasters around the country and the world.
In case you missed last Sunday’s sermon, here it is:
Have a wonderful weekend!
