Pastor’s weekly newsletter | Nov. 1, 2019
Good morning everyone,
I know you will join with me in expressing our prayers for Phil Hansen and his family. Phil is now under Hospice Care and will be flying soon to Minnesota to say goodbye to family and friends. He was a great blessing to Peace Covenant.
This Sunday is Stewardship Sunday and we will be having a very special guest in our worship service to share a minute for stewardship. The sermon will focus on the way to manage our money from the greatest money manager in the world, God! Our theme this year came from my sermon last Sunday, Extravagant Generosity. We will be emailing our Stewardship Letter and Pledge Card on Monday to return by December 1.
Following worship we will have a Stewardship Luncheon with subs, chips and drinks. Feel free to bring a side dish. Everyone is invited to celebrate this Stewardship Season and there is no charge. Linda Cunningham and Doug Brown will be sharing a few minutes on the importance of stewardship to continue the ministry of Peace Covenant here in Key West. Please join us!
Don’t forget to turn your clocks back one hour this Sunday!
Our Sunday School will take place in my office this week as we continue to explore the wonderment of Genesis.
