Sunday Services: 11 a.m. | Pastor Joe Reggin
May 14 | Mother’s Day
Children’s Sunday School: 11:15 a.m. following the children’s story in services.
Adult Sunday School begins at 10:00 a.m. in Fellowship Hall.
Beginning May 7, the adult Sunday school class will begin a study/discussion focused on the history of the Christian Church. This study/discussion will run eight Sundays through June 25. We will cover topics from the beginning of the church in the first century and the development of theological ideas in the early church through the Reformation of Luther and Calvin, to the modern church. We will observe the traditional summer break and return in August with additional topics to be announced at that time. If you would like additional information, please contact Joe.
Here are the scripture texts that will be the focus for our May sermons:
14 May: John 14:8-14 The Nature of God
21 May: John 3:16-21 For God so loved…
28 May: John 20:19023 & Acts 2:1-13 Two Stories of the Beginning
Looking ahead | Save the date
May 14: Mother’s Day will be celebrated in church. The children have special plans for the women in our congregation.
June 4: Celebrate Grads and Dads. Communion in services. Punch and cake will be served in Fellowship Hall to honor our grads and the men of our church.
Personalize your summer sermon:
Is there a Bible verse or verses you would like to hear explained in a sermon? Is there a story from the Old or New Testaments you would like to be a sermon focus? Is there an issue of belief in the Presbyterian Church, or Christianity in general, about which you have always wondered: “Do I really believe, or agree, with that?” Let Joe know your question and he’ll develop a summer sermon to answer your questions.
Please pray for:
